For this month's trade at work I decided on something summery... fruit!
I had these cool puffy stickers I received form a Flickr swap. So I made little stick fruit people in little scenes. I can't draw one lick so this was my attempt to stop being a graphic designer and be an artist. These are my FAVs.
Cards from the trade:
Card Anne Riekenberg.
Card by Brandon Porras. Scan of his mouth and fruiti song lyrics.
Card by Cathy Kouris.
Cards by Dayle Bennett with fruiti gum.
Card by Em Wolinsky.
Card illustration by Gayle Baddeley.
Card with smoothie recipe by Hattie McWhirt.
Crochet pineapple card by Jennifer Snuggs.
Rotten fruit illustration cards by intern Marcos Roman.
Felt & stitch lime card by Ruth Donikowski.

I finally had a Thursday free to go trade at Urban Arts + Crafts. It's been almost year since the last time I visited for an ATC event.
Thursday's theme was skinny dipping. I went with a little bright flower look to tie in with summer.
I took some paint chips and punched out the center and rounded the corners. I found some cool lazer print papers at Jo-Ann's (they have them at Archivers too). So I just placed the lazer flower paper in the center. Quick and easy!
Cards from the trade.
Card by Dayle Bennett. "Skinny Dippin."
Card by Marg A. "Laughter."
Card by Andi. "Retro Summer."
Card by D. Lamking. "Gardens."
Card by Peggy Longstaff. "Skinny Dippin."
Card by Jeanni. "By the Sea."

Claire Eglizeaud and Paul Moreau, a designer and a graphic artist from Bordeaux developped "Bonjour mon coussin" in 2007.
They have created a wide range of designs and offer them as pillow covers. Each cover is numbered and the number of copies limited. The lettering and collage are super cool!

Artist Trading Cards, also known as ATCs, are 2 ½ x 3 ½ inch miniature works of art which artists trade with one another, similar to the way people trade sports cards. Learn more.
This blog not only features ATCs, it features inspirational design with a variety of ideas for your next ATC, or whatever else you may be working on.
