TRADE - March 18th at work
theme: "red"

I figured it was time to do a color for this month's theme. I tried to do some color combos but it was getting a little tricky. So I just decided on the color red.

I actually had a hard time trying to figure out what to do. I had ordered a calendar spoof from the "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON" British poster. So I just re-made the lettering to be on backgrounds in shades of red.

Here are the cards from the trade:

Card by Neil. Paper cutouts of the Chinese zodiac.

Stephanie. Poppies she learned how to make from an Etsy tutorial.

I "heart" ATC card by Dayle.

Card by Gayle. Comic strip.

Heart series by Ruth. I got "young hearted."

Cherries by Hattie.

(RED) cards by Cathy.

TOOLS of the TRADE:
retro

General Mills has released retro cereal boxes for Cheerios brands, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs and Trix until March 21 in Target stores. The designs, including back-of-box activities, were taken largely from the General Mills archives, with modifications to reflect food updates.

Consumers with five proof-of-purchase labels will be entitled to a free shirt at cerealwear.com. Consumers who would rather just buy one can go to the site and spend $5 to don a defunct Mills design.

Too cool!
