TOOLS of the TRADE:
sketching
Sketch, the brainchild of Bay Area graphic design outfit Odopod, is a cool online drawing application. Faced with the blank page, choose brushes in various colors and textures to tackle your oeuvre, and follow your muse with the mouse: the results uncannily approximate the look of watercolor and ink drawings.
Clicking the arrows at the top of the screen takes you through works saved by other users, recreating the entire sketch at high speed before your eyes.

TOOLS of the TRADE:
cool stash
Eclecto Pouches are handmade with papers from the '50s to the '80s -- things like fashion mags, old maps, and department store catalogues -- that have been sewn between vinyl and turned into pouches.
Stash your coins, business cards, or even a cell phone. When you fish it out, be prepared for compliments.
