I found these warm and fuzzie illustrations from artist vol25.Jessicia, the voice behind vol25, is a self taught artist that just want to make people happy with her art. Domino Magazine, the guide to living with style, is closing the print magazine and shutting down their online content. March will be the last issue. Target has hired NHK Japan's Domo character as its mascot for its Halloween costume campaign, and Target's official website did host an exclusive stop-motion animated short for Domo and its friends. With our green efforts at work I thought an eco-friendly trade would be cool. Everyone went GREEN and used recycled materials to make their ATCs.I went through some old magazines and catalogs and cut strips with a paper cutter. I found these cool cards on Etsy by Heather Smith Jones.She pokes one hole at a time through paper with a needle to create a pattern, image, or text. Very labor intensive, but it would be a cool method to use on an ATC.

First Blueprint magazine and now Adorn are no longer.Why are our cool crafty inspirational magazines getting the boot? I decided to do some Easter eggs for the silhouettes theme. I used the egg shape of the ATC as a silhouette and I used some shapes to make some patterns. For the stripes & polka dot theme I decided to sew some patchwork with some stripe & polka dot fabrics I had. I never sewn such small pieces together before.
